1. Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY):

Launched in August 2014, this financial inclusion scheme has been instrumental in providing banking services to the unbanked population. PMJDY aimed to ensure that every household in India has access to a bank account, insurance coverage, and a debit card. The scheme has been a resounding success, with over 43 crore (430 million) bank accounts opened under it.

2. Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY):

PMUY, launched in May 2016, focuses on providing clean cooking fuel to rural households living below the poverty line. The scheme aims to reduce the health hazards associated with traditional cooking fuels such as wood and coal. By providing free LPG connections to eligible households, PMUY has benefitted over 8 crore (80 million) families, promoting cleaner and healthier cooking practices.

3. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan:

Launched on October 2, 2014, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or Clean India Mission aimed to make India open defecation-free and improve sanitation and cleanliness across the country. Through extensive awareness campaigns, construction of toilets, and behavior change initiatives, the campaign has significantly increased toilet coverage in rural areas. The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has made significant progress, with millions of toilets built and a noticeable change in cleanliness habits.

4. Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY):

Recognizing the vulnerability of Indian farmers to climate risks and crop failures, PMFBY was launched in 2016. This crop insurance scheme provides financial support to farmers in case of crop loss due to natural calamities, pests, or diseases. By mitigating the risks associated with farming, PMFBY has brought relief to millions of farmers and instilled confidence in agricultural practices.

5. Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY):

Launched in September 2018, AB-PMJAY is the world's largest government-funded healthcare scheme. It aims to provide health insurance coverage to over 50 crore (500 million) economically disadvantaged individuals and families. The scheme offers cashless treatment for a wide range of medical conditions, ensuring affordable and accessible healthcare to the vulnerable sections of society.

6. Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan:

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic repercussions, Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, or the Self-Reliant India Mission, was launched in May 2020. This initiative focused on bolstering domestic industries, promoting local manufacturing, and making India self-reliant in various sectors. The mission included measures such as financial packages, policy reforms, and incentives to revive the economy and create job opportunities.
